1st Month of ENS-ADC

Dear Learning Community,

We are going to organize some curriculum workshops for the KG parents in mid-October. We will encourage you to attend these so that you can help your children with their learning at home as well. You will soon receive a schedule from us providing you with the details of the topic, day and time. 

We had out 1st informal Parents Advisory Council meeting last Tuesday and we are still waiting for more parents to join. Our aim is to have one parent from each class on the PAC. If your class still does not have a parent representative, please speak to the teacher and suggest your name to her if you are interested. Once we have parents from all the classes, we will communicate the names of the members of PAC to all the parents.

The KG school moved to Al Manaseer building in June 2012. There will be one last phase of further improvement in this building to get the swimming pool floor higher to make it safe for KG children's swimming. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter. We have started our PE unit about movements and will offer swimming unit as soon as the pool is ready. Details of the PE units can be found on the KG 1 and KG 2 websites. We will keep you posted on it.

We have already made strong links with the community and it is our intention, as a school to increase these links. 

I am going to upload the Back to School Night presentation on the blog as well so that you can go through this if you could not attend the event on 18th September.
